Day 1: Agadir/Tiznit
Upon your arrival in Agadir you will be welcomed by your guide and will leave for Tiznit, famous for being the silversmiths. The area is the perfect starting point for discovering the beautiful Anti-Atlas Mountains. We will have a traditional Moroccan dinner and stay at hotel.
Day 2: Tiznit/Tafraoute
The day begins by touring investigating the souks (silver markets) before setting on the road to the Morocco interior. You will cross the impressive agricultural landscapes and then wind into the mountains which can take on surprising tones. You will see small Berber villages coiled on hillsides, almost hidden by the earth surrounding them. In the afternoon you will arrive at Tafraoute, the heart of the striking mountain landscape. The village is famous for its almond trees, Argan oil and its hand-madeb slippers. Snuggled up in the charming Ameln valley are the meadows of Tafraoute, which are ideal for hiking and exploring.
Day 3: Tafraoute/Tata
Discovery the valley and the traditional Berber house. This visit will give you the opportunity to get in touch with the lifestyle and the rich local culture. In the evening take advantage of the famous Moroccan hospitality by having dinner and staying in a traditional Morrocan Riad.
Day 4: Tata/Zagora
Tata is a city of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and is a good stopping point to take in the impressive landscapes before resuming the trip. It is a quiet town with pastel tones of pink, blue and yellow.
Day 5 : Zagora/Desert
You will approach the desert regions of Morocco, while traversing in a Land Rover, the immense path through barren landscapes of desert is both breathtaking and mesmeerizing. Before arriving in Merzouga, you will travel by camel to join your camp under traditional Berber tents where we will stay to admire the sunset on the golden sand dunes. The evening will be spent by a campfire under the starry sky, allowing you to catch the magical spirit of the desert.
Day 6: Merzouga
We will travel on rarely frequented tracks, and in a seldom-visited sector where you will experience landscapes very different from those that you have seen before. At the end of day you will reach Zagora, the heart of a beautiful Desert oasis.
Day 7: Merzouga/Todra Gorge
Wake up to the sunrise on the ever-changing dunes and take advantage of the slow and relaxing rhythm of life in the desert.
Day 8: Merzouga/Todra Gorge
After your trip to the Desert, you will travel to Todra's magnificent and narrow gorges where vertiginous cliffs of pink ochre frame a crystal clear and fresh river. At the end of the day, take a moment to appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of these places.
Day 9: Dades Gorge
As we continue the trip through the mountains. Your driver will leave you within a few feet of the fabulous rocky formations so that you can continue your trip on foot. In your own rhythm, you will discover the intact and wild landscapes strewn with flat roof villages with flat roofs among almond and fig trees. Dinner and accomadation will be provided at hotel.
Day 10: March through the Dades Gorge
After breakfast we will visit a traditional market and a mountain called Monkey Fingers, famous for appearing like a monkey's hand. After having lunch in the town we will start our trip by trekking through the mountains.
Day 11: Dades Gorge/Tioute
In the morning we will depart in the direction of Agadir. We will stop in the small village of Tioute where you will be able to walk in a throuth a fresh palm plantation.
Day 12: Tioute/Agadir
In the morning we will depart to Agadir and you will spend this day in this exciting and modern city before heading to the airport for your departure.
